Swedish Massage: introduced in the nineteenth century by former Swedish gymnast, Professor Per Henrick Ling, Swedish massage quickly gained popularity. Extremely relaxing technique using long strokes, kneading, vibration and stretching with light oils. Pressure can range from very light to very firm. An ideal combination of techniques for a perfect massage. Clients report greater vitality, improved mobility and more restful sleep.

Sports / Deep Tissue Massage: Invigorating combination of Swedish, deep muscle, trigger point and sport’s massage to lengthen, stretch and relieve tightness in tired, sore muscles. Excellent for releasing lactic acid build-up from athletic pursuits.

Reflexology for Hand & Feet: Pressure points in the hands & feet refer to various glands & organs throughout the body. By applying massage and pressure to these specific points, organs are stimulated, restoring health and balance of energy throughout the body. Includes a therapeutic footbath.

Aromatherapy Massage: A soothing combination of Swedish massage and vita flex using essential oils to treat muscular & joint pain, headaches and mental stress. The ancient art employs the healing properties of pure oils of flowers, plants and herbs applied by caring, hands-on massage. An Aromatherapy Massage is an emotionally and physically uplifting treatment. Raindrop Therapy is a specific massage using a variety of essential oils to cleanse, relax and invigorate at the same time!

La Stone® Massage: Therapy of Hot and Cold basalt rocks will treat your whole self to another level of relaxation and relief. Feel the heat and strength of the rocks as they caress your spine and act as an extension of the therapist hands.

…Imagine warm, smooth river rocks of various shapes and sizes cradling your spine, centering and warming your abdomen, caressing each toe and softening your hands. As you float away to your island paradise you can smell the fragrant flowers from the essential oils diffusing on the warm belly stones. The massage therapist uses hot and cold stones to melt away muscle tension. As you drift deeper and deeper into perfect bliss, your body and mind let go of the day and relax to allow the body to escape and rejuvenate.

The use of hot/cold stones treat specific ailments. The heat is used to bring circulation to the area to oxygenate and feed starved tissue. The cold is used to go deep into the tissue to stop pain. Using both hot and cold treatments together, contrast therapy is achieved to give the tissues optimum relief that in turn allows the body to heal quickly.

The stones can be used for deep tissue work and reflexology as well as light relaxing bodywork. It is truly a unique massage experience allowing you to reconnect with the earth!

Lymphatic Drainage Therapy: The job of the Lymphatic System is to clean every cell in your body. Lymphatic Drainage Therapy (LDT) is a very gentle ‘massage’ to help eliminate fluid retention and toxins trapped in your tissues. Once the lymph is flowing, the body responds with a stronger immune system and release of emotional and physical stress.

Thai Massage: Combination of stretching and acupressure treatment.
